OUR BEGINNING
From Cloud Infrastructure to the Kitchen Table
My professional life has always been deeply rooted in the digital world. After spending years architecting cloud infrastructure, deploying backend systems, and staring at screens, I realized my days were defined by the virtual. But when we started our own family, a profound realization hit: I wanted the exact opposite for my home. Sitting around our kitchen table, watching our little ones interact with the physical world, we knew we wanted them to experience grounding, tactile realities—the smooth warmth of natural wood, not the cold surface of a screen. That desire to unplug and return to nature became the seed that sprouted EcoPlayKit.
We didn't leave the world of technology because it wasn't meaningful — we left the screen behind because we discovered something more profound at our kitchen table. We believe that the most important infrastructure a child can have is not built from code, but from curiosity, creativity, and the warm touch of natural materials. A Simple Question That Changed Everything
As parents, we quickly found ourselves overwhelmed by modern toy aisles. We kept asking a simple question: Why are most children's toys made of flashy, battery-operated plastics that inevitably end up in a landfill? We wanted better. Finding transparent information about the paints, sealants, and materials was nearly impossible. We knew that if we were struggling to find safe, high-quality, and truly non-toxic toys for our kids, other mindful families were too. So, we started small—handpicking sustainable materials, partnering with ethical makers, and testing every single eco-friendly piece right in our own living room.
